After receiving one of the highly sought after Le Mans 2010 invites, Japanese team Dome has withdrawn itself from contention as of today. Head of Research and development at Dome, Hiroshi Yuchi has announced that the team will no longer be participating in the 78th edition of the endurance classic. Yushi cited budgetary constraints/insufficient sponsorship as the reasoning behind the team’s withdrawal.

As the first of the prototype reserves, Pegasus Racing team will inherit the entry forfeited by Dome. The Strasbourg-based outfit will enter its’ recently adopted LMP2 Norma-Judd (the first chassis designed to 2011 specification), providing a fitting return for the French chassis constructor.
